The manager of GCHQ has caution that the UK is facing the extremely real danger of a cyber terrorist attack. Iain Lobban said during a language at the International organization for planned Studies that the UK's financial prospect relies on its ability to fend off cyber attacks on the country's serious infrastructure.
Lobban clarify that GCHQ has a role to play in all areas of UK security, and had its roots in the code breakers at Bletchley Park.
"All through the intervening years our attainment has remained at that high level of technical expertise. Our people, of whom I am enormously proud, remain one of this country's great unsung assets," he said.
