President Barack Obama plunge into a last week of midterm vote vote agitation Monday, his party's forecast darkened by a fragile economy and his journey stitch mutually to minimize losses to resurgent Republicans.
Nor was his greeting likely to lift his spirits in Rhode Island wherever Obama has pointedly turned down to support his party's contender for director.
Obama can "take his backing and shove it," affirmed Democrat Frank Caprio, battling Republican-turned-independent Lincoln Chafee in a gubernatorial contest rated tight in the polls. Chafee expert the president during the 2008 campaign for the White House.
